Who’s running this?

This promotion is organised by Techscend Ltd, a UK-registered business with our main office at Blake House, 18 Blake Street, York, YO1 8QG (that’s us).

When is it running?

You can enter any time from 09:00 BST on 1st May 2025 until 23:59 BST on 1st July 2025. Entries received after this date won’t be counted – no exceptions, sorry!

Who can take part?

To be eligible, you must:

• Be 18 or over

• Be a UK resident

• Represent a registered business or organisation

Only one entry per business is allowed. If you’re an employee of Techscend (or closely related to someone who is), you’re not eligible to enter.

How do I enter?

It’s easy:

• Head over to our website and run a free domain scan.

• You’ll need to provide your name, email address, telephone number and business name when submitting the scan.

Please make sure your details are accurate — incomplete, duplicate or false entries won’t be included in the draw.

What’s the prize?

One lucky winner will receive a general admission ticket to the York Proms, taking place on 27th July 2025 at the stunning Museum Gardens, York. The ticket usually costs £48.

At our discretion and depending on availability, we may also provide a second ticket so you can bring a guest (e.g. partner or child).

Please note:

• The ticket is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and non-refundable

• Travel, accommodation, food, drink, and other personal expenses are not included

How will the winner be chosen?

Once the promotion closes, we’ll randomly select one winner from all eligible entries. The draw will take place by 8th July 2025.

How will I know if I’ve won?

We’ll contact the winner by email using the details provided during entry. If we don’t hear back within 7 days, we’ll draw a new winner in time for the event.

You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the link in our emails. We’ll never sell or pass your data to anyone else for marketing.

What happens with my data?

We’ll use the details you provide to manage this promotion and contact the winner. If you opt in, we may also send you marketing emails – but only with your consent.

All personal data is processed in accordance with UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy.

We want you to enjoy the experience, but just so we’re clear:

• The York Proms event is organised independently — we’re not responsible for any changes, delays or cancellations they make.

• You attend the event at your own risk.

• We’re not liable for any loss, damage or injury related to the event or this promotion, unless it’s due to our negligence.

This doesn’t affect your legal rights — especially if something results in personal injury or death due to negligence.

And finally…

We reserve the right to cancel, suspend or amend the promotion if something unexpected happens that’s beyond our control.

This prize draw is governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be handled by the courts here.
